2-1-1
2-1-1 is a free telephone number providing access to local community services. -1-1 is available in multiple languages, allowing those in need to access information and obtain referrals to physical and mental health resources; housing, utility, food, and employment assistance; and suicide and crisis interventions. 2-1-1 also provides disaster preparedness, response, and recovery during declared emergencies.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Covered California is a free service that connects Californians with brand-name health insurance under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It’s the only place where you can get financial help when you buy health insurance from well-known companies. That means when you apply, you may qualify for a discount on a health plan through Covered California, or get health insurance through the state’s Medi-Cal program. Ability Tools is California’s Assistive Technology Act Program we provide a variety of services for Californians with disabilities of all ages. They provide technology free of charge to help people to continue live independently. They lend devices as well as portable wheelchair ramps. etc Call: 800-390-2699
California’s Low-Cost Automobile Program (CLCA)
California Law requires that all drivers of vehicles within the State maintain evidence of financial responsibility. The CLCA program is designed to provide income eligible persons with liability insurance protection at affordable rates as a way to meet California’s financial responsibility laws.

MEDI-CAL
Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer, or HIV/AIDS. Medi-Cal is financed equally by the state and federal government. You must apply in your local county.

UTILITIES
CARE and FERA are PG&E discount programs that help eligible customers pay their energy bills California Alternate Rates for Energy Program (CARE).
