Great infrastructure products are only half the solution. Hyve Solutions Global Services (H.U.G.S.) is a best-in-class service initiative offering on-site support. From major cities to remote locations, H.U.G.S. assists in delivering systems to the user location, advising deployment, on-site repairs, and more. 


H.U.G.S. is made up of a diverse group of personnel with a wide range of expertise. “We’re trained in everything from infrastructure break/fix support to fully populated rack implementations,” says Will Smith, Field Service Engineer, out of Seattle, “All with the friendly, personable attitude the name implies.” 


The acronym, though a little unorthodox for an enterprise-class service offering, was submitted by a H.U.G.S. team member during a late-night brainstorming session… and it just stuck. The technician came up with the name after thinking about how the hold they use to move heavy racks around a data center which looks a lot like hugging. 


Every deployment is different. When a H.U.G.S. team rolls out, it can be for a request as simple as a break/fix contract or as complex as a 100+ rack deployment at 40 edge sites across the world. In either setting, technicians are ready to work with the client to outline their needs and develop a custom solution to fit their unique request. If training is necessary for custom programs, we do that too! 


As COVID-19 continues to add new hurdles to travel and communication, local assistance becomes increasingly essential. Our global network of 4,000+ personnel remedies delays and inefficiencies, offering amazing support in the form of same-day guarantees and long-term project solutions.  

It is not unheard of for H.U.G.S. to establish a local support office near a client’s site to whittle down response times.
